Great article! I had a blog between 2016-2019 that worked very much in the "old world." Post - SEO - Social Media Sharing - Passive Income through ads and affiliates. It was relatively easy to make money without marketing too much. You're fully right that the blogging world is very different now. The problem is also that there is an enormous niche of bloggers selling courses on "how to make 100,000 dollars blogging." People get the wrong idea. That being said blogging can still work if you handle the marketing part well.
